As singles, when the word “marriage” comes to your mind, what do you think about? Do you just think about raising up children? Do you just think about sex? Do you just think about companionship and fun? Or you just think about living your father and mother, living all those duties at home, and then cleave to your partner? If these are just all you think about marriage, if these are just the reason why you want to be married, then you are already making a big mistake.

Marriage comes with responsibility, so all what you have been doing at your parents home are just little compared to what you will handle in your marital home. Hearing the voice of God Part 2

Like I stated in the part 1 of this message, not hearing from God is just like walking with two eyes closed, I also said there is need for us to learn how God speak to us before walking into relationship. You are a believer, and you don't know how God speaks to you, then how will you know the right person in a relationship? How will you know who truly loves you? How will you know when God is warning you against that guy or lady? I just hope you are not depending on your senses for that, because many may appear to be good and nice in all areas of their life, but just one hidden thing about them may bring a life time trouble for you when you get connected to them.

Identifying the wrong person in a relationship may be possible by just observing their characters, their behaviors, or by seeing their poor Christian life, but there are some things you do not see, there are some hidden things that needs spiritual eyes to identify. We have lot of pretenders out there, many of them claim to be Christians but they are not

Hearing the voice of God

It is quite unfortunate that many of us who call ourselves Christians don't hear from God. There is no way we can do things the right way if we don't hear from our father. Hearing from God is one of the most important thing a true believer should long for, but many people pay little or no attention to it. Not hearing from God is just like walking with two eyes closed, and this has made many to fall into pit that has trapped their destiny. Until you learn to hear from God, don't involve yourself with anything that will ultimately require God's attention.

Sometimes we pray for things we are not fully prepared for. Some of us ask God to show us a sign whether something or someone is good or bad for us. The funny part is, God may have given us plenty of signs , before we even prayed that prayer.

Rededicate your life to God

Life is so sweet and filled with pleasures, but if one is not careful, focus or committed to the things of God, the negative side of life takes over. Sometimes I sit down and wonder why people live in sin even when they know about God. Is it that they can’t repent or what? 

God has given us life and has brought us into this world for an assignment, but how many of us have discovered that assignment? We are so busy with our daily activities, office works and many more, but less concerned about our mission here on earth.

Each and every one of us was created to solve a problem, there is a problem only you can solve here on earth, and until you make yourself available for the Master's use, you won’t

Keeping yourself and waiting on God

Abstinence till marriage appears to be unachievable for so many people, even some who promised to keep themselves ended up breaking their promises. It is very easy to make such promise, but when it comes to sticking to it, you hear different stories. Stories like, “I was driven by my emotions, I didn't know it will lead to sex, l couldn't control my feelings, hence I allowed it.” 

Emotions and feelings usually drive some people into doing the wrong thing in relationship, because they are not matured enough to control what they feel about the people they get attracted to. Fear Him - He is not your mate

Wow! It is a new month… I’m so happy to be alive to see this day. God has been faithful, He has been in charge. Ever since I surrendered my life to Him, things have been moving smoothly and gently, unlike when I was deceiving myself… like so many of us still do. 

If you are still in that shoe, please come out of it, life is easier when you are sincere with God; life is sweeter when you serve God with the whole of your heart. Stop trying to please men, for they will displease you sooner or later, stop seeking their help for God has all the help you need, even the ones your helpers need. Why look up on men, when you have the author and the finisher of your faith to look up on? Why make a creature a god to yourself… when the Creator of that creature has the breath
